My constipated radiator was just REPLACED (no, apparently you can't just bore out the newer foreign made radiators..... grumble grumble grumble) on Friday! I will be very careful. The good news is that it's 33 degrees right now at 5:45am - it should be warmer than yesterday, when I kept getting that "Ice possible, Drive with care" message even as late as 3pm...

You know what the problem with taking vacation days is??? Going back to work.... I'd really rather stay home today!

Soo... guys and gals... sorry I haven't been around much, lost my little bro 7 days ago, (48) the funeral is tomorrow. I'm from a moderate sized family and it took this long to get everyone together at the same time. Haven't been feeling too chatty but you deserve an explanation.

I don't understand the medical jargon, but seems he had a cerebral hematoma from a fall recently... he went from 100 to 0 in just a few short hours.

Anyways.. I'll be back....

Finally got to pick up the SUV today. Guys at the shop really did right by me. Only had to pay for parts, not labor. I asked what the odds were that the radiator would go AND so would the gauges telling me the radiator is bad?? I was told that they checked with Mitsubishi and this is a REALLY COMMON problem - once the gauge is topped out, it fries the circuit board. I wonder if the company designed it that way to make some more money??? So, if any of you have a Mitsubishi and it overheats, have the shop test the circuit board for the gauges too... $1200 in repairs in less than a week... Thank God there are 3 paychecks in December, or Christmas would be slightly less merry...
