I have a cd3800 with the adm and mine gets hot too. I think the adm has been design changed a few times. Im going bigger 4 sure.I have never been happy with this adm cooler. I dont think it is very efficient because when I get on the highway and while the converter is locked it takes a looooong time to cool down. Im going to build my own. |

Fittings
What kind of connections and lines did you use to install the cooler? I was going to order one for mine.

I used AN fittings for mine and adapters for the hard lines on the TRU Cool I have. I haven't heard much about my tru cool before trying it. I bought it based on the shape and mounting location.... I have not seen over 180 trans temp in any of my logs after multiple runs or traffic.

Thanks guys. I am really trying to do some research before buying. I didn't mean to jack the thread by the way. My trans now gets up to 210-215ish when it's 80 degrees out just going through town.
