6060 to th400
Looking for any pointers or tricks when swapping from a 6060 to a th400.
Any info will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It will be getting sold along with the mcleod rxt to help fund the th400.

I did the 6l80 swap to TH400 and that's harder so I should be able to help ya out give me a call

Pretty easy. You will need a different flex plate , drive shaft (drive shaft shop has all measurements on hand so they can help you with that ) your Trans crossmember will work with a bit of modifieing and need a Trans mount . Don't forget shifter also , Trans oil cooler. Then just figure out your neutral safety switch wires and reverse lights. Search turbo 400 swap should have a bunch of pict to help

I went to the solenoid on the starter and cut the purple wire, then ran 2 wires off the neutral safety microswitch on the shifter down to the starter and connected each to one side of the cut purple wire.
I think guys doing the swap from the 6060 have the reverse lights figured out but not the case going from the 6L80.
