Road Course cost

I'm in for the extra as well, not a problem, can't wait to run the big course!

Question for anyone who may know the answer. I printed my self-tech sheet and I looked at all the items and one says hubcaps, trim rings removed. Does that mean we have to remove center caps from our wheels? I don't want to get there and have to pull all 4 wheels off at the track. Not to mention that i am not bringing tools to do that anyways! May sound like a stupid question, but better safe than sorry!

You can leave them on if stock but I would definitely once at the track remove your valve stem covers just as a precaution.

That means true hubcaps and those decorative chrome rings around the edge of steel wheels. Your center caps should be fine. As far as tools go though, there will be plenty of us there with more than enough tools to help you out if you do want/need to remove them.

Sorry, I'm thinking I might not make the racing part. BUT in lew of the new price, what about lunch time for those that don't want to race but make a parade lap, have the folks that want parade laps to pay a fee for that. I'm not sure how many people did parade laps last time, but its a thought? May two sessions, one at lunch and one late afternoon?

I was told the parade laps were for the drivers only but if push come to shove and it comes down to $$ I'd probably be OK with paying for a few parade laps

You just did parade laps last weekend...

You need to be on the track for real this time!

I think that's actually a good idea - I've been to some track day events where the organizers charged for lunch time parade laps. That will allow people who aren't ready to put their cars on track to taste track driving without getting overwhelmed. Then they may come back for actual track sessions for next year.

Either this or little extra money from drivers, I am in for full course.

My Convertible needs a roll bar to run the course and that's not happening this year.

Your center caps are very easy to remove. If you find me I will have the plastic tools to do this. You will want to do this, it does NOT require you to remove your wheels. Plastic center caps will get hot and warp. Mine fell off in the pits at Gingerman last year. You can pop them out in a second.
