Lol, great topic. I work from home everyday and we have video conferences everyday. My girl was working from home also and we use same office but her desk is behind me facing away. I popped my airpod pros in, logged on but wasn't talking yet, when all of a sudden my girl stood up with her sleeper top and panties on. I wasn't looking at screen due to reading blue prints, until my boss was telling me I might wanna turn camera off. Luckily I work with mostly ladies and they found it funny and we have a good relationship in the office. Lol, so I started wearing pants during meetings now and not just company dress shirts, lmao.

If I am on video I will sometimes wear a zoot suit jacket with side vents five inches long along with two-tone brogues. But I usually just wear what I wore to the office - jeans, polo type shirt in the summer or long sleeve casual dress shirt in the winter.

Video conferences only show your upper body. Better to wear dress shirts with jeans or whatever you want. That's why strategy.

It would be funny to sit in a video conference in a shirt, but at the same time in shorts that are not visible)
I personally work remotely in home clothes

Funny of the day for you, on work clothes. I have been working from home since early March and don't have to be on any video conferences, so I wear a t-shirt, sweats or whatever. Our gyms have finally opened up and me and the wife were getting ready to go.

Me: But these are my work clothes, what should I wear to the gym.
her: Shut up and get ready.

I have 2 extra shirts sitting ready for meetings. When my camera goes on and I'm in either a regular Polo or a long sleeve dress shirt.

I haven't had shoes on in over 2 weeks...

My wife was laughing her ass off at me only using the top two buttons on my dress shirt and shorts.

For me, choosing clothes is part of a daily ritual

All my teams meetings are voice only. None of us want to see each other, so it works out this way!

We usually have calls without a video, so I don't care much about clothing.

It depends if you have a video conference or call then you should wear official ones. Otherwise, better to work with causal ones.

The main thing is that the top is decent. And already what is under your table, this should not bother anyone)
Thank God we only have audio communication at work
