Now you need some of Adam's polishing pads! I have used other polishing pads in my day. I have found adam's to be the best bang for your buck.

I think it has a more powerful motor and maybe a longer cord, but certainly no reason to trade up from an older 7424.

Correct but only by 800opm (certainly not worth a upgrade)

I got mine last week from auto detailing solitions.com. Comes with a meguiars backing plate plus a free Lake Country pad of your choice. Best investment into my mobile detailing business yet

The lake country pads were too stiff for me. I use Adam's pads they have a lot more flexibility and make it easier to buff those hard to reach places.

Everyone has there opinion. I just know that Lake Country and Meguiars are the best pad choices that I have used so far. I have not tried Adam's yet but I dont really like their polishes IMO.

the orange pads (best all around) are stiff at first but they break in quickly. The 5.5" ones do at least, the 6.5" is a little too stiff.

Regardless, they don't stay stiff for long.

How often do you use something like this? It seems like it must take a bit of clearcoat so you wouldn't wanna be doing it all the time right?
