Another GM success story that promotes the phony all-electric future. Go GM/Nikola!! But who cares. Just be a believer in "the future" that is really a fraud.

I do miss my old F-150's V8, but this is decent. Colorado W/T Extended Cab with the LGZ V6.

A shame the GM V6 is going away good motor that sounds much better than new 4cyls especially at high RPM.

My impala and Lacrosse were really good with that engine.

When is the new Colorado coming out? Now that I have a house a truck is needed. Silverado seems like overkill and its ugly imo.

Probably have at least a few more years before you see the 3rd gen. Maybe 2023 MY.

The word is 2023 model year, but I'm worried that with the "rona" pushing things back, could it now be the 2024 model year. I really want to want to see what everyone has to offer in the updated midsize trucks before I pull the trigger on something to replace my 2015 when the time comes, but dang, I'm not sure I can wait another 3 or 4 years. Based on the time frames I've seen, that puts the new generation of GM mid-size twins out at the end of or after all the other brands plan to release their next gens.

If the next gen midsize trucks are due for MY2023 I would be willing to bet they're available starting in 2022. So we're likely only 2 years out.

Hmmm. Looks like I will in the market. Im hoping it comes with a V6 as an option dont want to drive a 4cyl.

Im guessing there hasn't been any new concept art on what they will look like? Im not a truck guy but the 16 to 18 Silverado Premier is still the best looking exterior truck to me.

The rumor is the 2.7 I4 from the Silverado as the sole engine choice. It sounds like both the V6 and diesel are out.

Good to see this. Not an LTG. New motor drops ~20hp nearly same torque

Torque actually comes in earlier in the power band with the LSY. Doubt the majority of consumers will even notice the drop in horsepower between the two engines.

If GM gets the pickups update (put the shifter back!) right then that will be my next new purchase. Please don't screw it up!

You would think they'd be very careful given trucks are financing all this EV development. I'll be interested to see the refresh coming up as well.
