10 Years Ago Today

10 years ago today I took delivery of my car. 211,000 miles and still running strong. And looks great.

Very nice.

I ordered mine and it was delivered on June 2, nine years ago.

Like yours, a non-RS SS, only white, and being late in the model year, minus chiclets. I just passed 70,000 miles, because the car hides from salt for 6 months out of the year.

Enjoy!

Rock-it Man,

I also do not drive my car in the Winter. But I do have a 60 mile commute. And use it to take multiple trips to Northern Michigan every year.

My '10 SS anniversary is coming up (8/21/09) but only 58,000 trouble free miles.

With everyone modifying, it's not often that a stock Camaro is seen... especially with chiclets. It looks like a fantastic modern classic!

Thank you. I made the decision early on to keep it as stock as possible. For the first time in a long while Chevrolet did a great job of delivering a well styled well performing car that I could afford. Many people were modifying their cars so I decided it would be good to keep mine the way it was built.

I feel the same way and have kept my SS 99% stock. I did some upgrades
that I wish GM would have done or offered when built. I put SS emblems on
the fenders, added full unibody sound insulation, Camaro chrome wheels,
footwell lighting, billet chrome door handles and Dusk edition front lamp
bezels. Small things that most people would not even notice.
