Car continues not being able to start
I have a 2015 L99 SS, and it is back in the dealership for the 5th time after not being able to start. It's not the battery, it's not the starter, and the dealership doesn't know what is wrong either. Apparently they have been communicating with GM over possible issues, but it feels like a bunch of bullshit the fifth time around.
Has anyone else had a similar problem, or have any idea what it could be? |

There was a member a few weeks back. He said the dealer discovered the problem had to do with the alarm system. A sensor or harness......
Good luck |

got my Camaro back ... the reason for not starting was a broken Theft Deterrent Module ( computer ) which prohibited the car to start .

Now the rattling noise coming from the engine room is thill there.. and one of the noises is this :

http://vid1267.photobucket.com/album...AD15641DED.mp4 |

Go to another dealership if you can, also Chevy customer care monitors this site. Maybe they will chime in and assist you, or you can PM them.
5 times is way too many IMO.

So the fix was replacing the theft deterrent module?
I'd welcome Chevy to chime in, what is their username on this site so I can PM? |

If you're within the GNO area, try taking your car to Bryan or Banner. Both of those dealers have excellent service departments. Just avoid Best and Levis if you can.

try your other key too. Sometimes it's a bad key but most of the time it is a bad decoder in ignition
