I've made the last 3 CamaroFests in Bowling Green with the Canadian crew. 2 days driving to get there and 2 days getting back.
The venue is perfect, I can't see it getting any better anywhere else.
You guys have things laid out so good there.
Keep up the good work guys, looking forward to next year!
I even got to "Experience Hiney!!!!" LOL

Our event was held at the Marriott in NW Atlanta we had the Friday cruise to GMMM, GM brought down 3 truck load of cars, we held the car show on Saturday we would pack 250+ cars, epic evening parking lot parties. The show really turned into a family reunion.

We all loved it we are working on bringing it back for 2020.

Just ask Scott Settlemire he attended each year. It’s more about the people spending a weekend with friends.

Camaro Fest is just like this event. I enjoy coming and spending time seeing friends I only get to see once a year.

I went to CF7 and had a blast the trip was entertaining took 13hrs. to get home in one shot stopping for gas and bathroom breaks. I'll probably plan it better for CF10. Hoping those who say they are going don't bail.

We have a solid base in KY and surrounding areas that will come no matter what. Then many new folks can get there in a one day drive. Over 60% attendance this year were 1st timers. Also, our key volunteers for AutoX are a decent drive away too which helps.

Have you been to CFest?
I don’t care if it continues to be in BG or somewhere else. However, This stat seems concerning unless attendance was well above record highs. If people don’t return can you keep hoping new people will show up each year?

No matter where its held it will be inconvenient for some. Best to leave it be at the moment in BG since its fairly centered in the higher populated part of the US.

It’s not just forum members who attend this event. Word gets around and anyone with a camaro or GM car comes in for the weekend and has lots of fun. BG seems to get more busier every year and this year the host lot was more packed than the previous year. This event gains a lot of attention, even the outsiders come and see. This year was a few BMWs. Would it be nice to find another place? Yes. But with the respect they have with BG and even the news crew, it would be hard pack up and go somewhere else.

New to the forum and just bought my Camaro. I was curious as to the approximate cost for the wristbands and what is all included. A ballpark $$$ amount for tickets and lodging would really be helpful as I am fairly poor and need a year to save and plan, lol. I also hope it’s in Bowling Green personally since it’s a hop, skip, and jump from Missouri.

How much in advance are the location details usually released?

They've been better on the time and detail release the past few years. Hotels are gonna run you around 4 to $500 if you get a dual bed room you can split the cost with another person. As far as wrist bands i think it's $365 for so for the whole entire event? For just dragway and show i think it was like $110 or something.

Last one I attended was like 2016, I have been to two in BG and love the area. I plan on going next year, Gonna talk the wife in to going. As my son should be in the AF by then and will not likely be able to make it.. Some of you know us from Baytown, Tx. She not a big car fan, just drives her truck...
