Hello from Wichita, Kansas

First of all, I can't thank you all enough for the very valuable information I have found on this site. Good information has helped me install skip-shift eliminator, fog lights, pick out an air intake, pick the correct wheels offsets and choose an exhaust system. Thank you!

A little about the G-Machine. It is a 2010 Cyber Gray Camaro 2SS, 6speed with almost 30k miles. It was my father in law's car who died last year from complications of cancer. It was his baby. He rarely drove it, but loved having it in the garage and taking it out on weekends. I bought it from my mother in law shortly after his death and named it the G-Machine because his name was Galen. My son, who is 6 loves cruising in it and helping me tinker on it. My wife doesn't like "falling" into it, but hey, you can't win them all.

I live in Wichita, Kansas and have been a car fanatic my entire life. I have had more cars than I can count, but plan on keeping this one around for a long time. I hope to give it to my son when he is ready.

Again, thanks for all of your great posts and pictures. It is nice too meet you.

Pete Moyer

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during the lost of your be-loved family member. It’s great that the Camaro and his memory will stay with the family. Extending a big welcome to the site.

Nice car! Welcome to the forum Pete.
I'd also recommend you look up the Heartland Camaros club out of Wichita. Had a chance to meet some of them at the Evolution car show and just a great group of people!

Welcome! Nice ride!

I lived in Wichita in the 80s. When Beech Aircraft was still Beech. Ma Beech still came to work every day. Good times.

Ive already promised my 2012 SS Bumblebee to my grandson when I am too old and he is old enough to deal with a muscle car.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
