CSP Headers

Straight from a top tuner in GA to remain nameless re: CSP Headers for the ZL1:

"As far as header fitment and fitting. The technician noted that it wasn't very easy to get the header into place. That said, once they were into their respective cavities on either side of the engine, they were some of the best fitting headers we've ever seen.

Definitely worth the money as far as we can tell."

EXCELLENCE. Buddy is stoked

I think you posting this definitely sealed my decision to go with their headers! Thanks

Just installed these headers. Only real pain was trying to get the passenger side up and in because it was on jacks. They need to be almost vertical, so I had to jack it up as high as I could get it and made it work.

They did a ton of R&D on these. Bonus they're made by Stainless Works so the quality should be there also.

I wish I had purchased a set and put them in my storage building for a couple of years, the price now with the cats are up there, my warranty isn't up till 2023, with the oil pump issues on some I just dont want to risk it at the moment. CSP headers / Stainless works made a great product, and no timing knock .

Are these the 1 7/8 or the 2"

Thanks. They look great.
Planning on picking some up at the end of the year.

2" primaries, 304 stainless tig welded, 3" merge with collector spike, jet hot coated. Used ARP stainless header bolts.

They said they were going to take any negatives from any of the other manufacturers and suggested they'd be the best out there in fitment, installation, quality, etc. It sounds like they did their homework. I haven't read a negative post about them yet.

Agreed all around based on current impressions. Only thing to upgrade is to ARP stainless header bolts (way stronger than the stainless works ones included) and ARP stainless collector bolts and washers. The washers that came with the kit were super thin.

The bolts that are on the headers are garbage. Mine were loose and already galling. Bolts had to be broken off. CSP is already working with stainless works on better bolts so should be taken care of, if not already in the next batch.

BTW, you really don’t need stainless bolts. The best bolts for collectors are still grade 8 bolts which are the strongest and don’t have galling issues.

mine were very close to that aluminum crossbrace on the passenger side, but went on super easy since the heads were off for cam install

being made by stainless works and andrew getting rid of the other company's nuances was just icing on the cake. would recommend
