Anyone swap out the Recaro drivers seat for something wider/more comfortable?

As expected the recaro (seat bottom really) side bolsters dig into the sides of my hips/legs. I’m 6’ 280lbs. Wide I would say lol. But the recaros have left sore spots on my sides of my legs from the hours drive home getting it from out of state. I’m sure I’m not the only one to think they are too small. Anyone do anything about it?? Swap in an SS seat or some aftermarket solution?? I’m at a loss. I don’t care about losing the power or heated/cooling for an ultra comfortable drivers seat. Ideas?

I'll swap you my "3"LT seats lol Heated/Cooled/Memory .. Driver needs some reconditioning on the bolsters, I'm a little heavier than you same height.. but passenger and back are near perfect

Lol I figured people would start coming out of the woodwork looking to trade/swap for the recaros. No way I’d let them go. I’m talking about just pulling the drivers recaro and putting it in storage. Then buying another seat to put in place. I’d put the recaro back in if I ever went to the track or was to sell it. So I won’t swap it with anyone. Just looking for ideas for a new seat. But thanks.

lol worth a shot. Dependent upon how next month goes I could have my set up for sale.. as I already had my eye on a set of recaros just need to get some things in line first. I'll PM you if I end up getting recaros

Give it more seat time before you change seats. I thought the same thing but after a few more miles driving they started feeling good to me. Now after 2 years I wouldn’t trade the Recaros for any other seat out there. I am 6 foot and about 200 pounds 63 years old and the drivers seat fits me so good. I guarantee that you will really like them once they get broken in to your body shape and weight.��

Find a drivers seat at a junkyard. Any power driver from 2016 on work, obviously not a ZL1. A 1ss or 2ss would be ideal.

My 1SS Redline came optioned with Recaro. It was a MUST have for me. I searched far and wide. I'm 250 and 5'10 and I feel perfectly sat in the Recaro. I could see why bigger taller people would have issues. But man, I couldn't trade it for anything.

They dig into my sides a little bit.. but the overall driving position and feel was much better in the recaros. I feel that even the LT 1LE should have been forced to be paired with recaros
