I got mine at the end of December. Most dealers around here where still trying to mark them up but I found a good dealership and got mine without markup.

I ordered on the first day you could place the order 10/2008. Took delivery 7/2/2009. Paid MSRP. My baby is a Year old today. I would of paid more if I had to. When I ordered it I did not even know the price and did not care, I wanted as soon as I could have it. The dealer was great and did not charge me any extra. Desantis Chev. were honest people to deal with.

like you,i bought my SS when you couldn't find them.purchased last august.paid $1,000 over sticker.no regrets.i love this car and have already won many car show awards.

Got mine 6/09, with USAA, and dealer discount.....came to a little over $2k below sticker!! When I traded it in back in May for my Vette, I got within $500 of what I paid for it.

Never, pay sticker!!!

I paid 3k over for mine - the dealer was charging 5k but the finance guy I talked to only quoted me 3 so...I didn't care - I wanted this car and at the time a lot of places were selling for up to 10k over....
Original delaership (that SUCKED) was only going to charge me 1k over but that was for the LT so.....
Mine's fully loaded and after taxes and fees and etc she's still well worth the 45k...

Haha you guys in the States have no clue about paying a premium. Come to Canada with our stupid HST tax of 13% and paying much higher price with a dollar at par your looking at 50k+ out the door for a 2SS. For my loaded 2Lt with tax's included it was around 42k and that was with a 1k rebate and paying MSRP.

Acquired in Oct 09 --- Paid below MSRP using the GM Supplier discount. However - nowhere close to me in FL was doing GM discount, actually showing over list. Got it shipped in from Arkansas. Bale Chevrolet -- best experience i have ever had buying a car- and I didn't see it until the transporter turned up at a local supermarket car park - think i paid $36,500 - A6, SS/RS with polished rims, factory stripes, painted engine cover. Shipping was $600...

i payed MSRP. ordered mine and had to wait almost 3 months! so i really do feel like my car is my baby haha. anyway i got the Cyber Grey, 2SS/RS, with the sunroof. since i ordered it, i had to put $500 down. i got mine on Sept. 26, 2009. The dealership told me if i wasn't completely satisfied and didn't wanna buy it, they'd give me my $500 back because they wouldn't have a problem selling it. they sure didn't have a problem selling it to me!
