Spoiler bolts TSB taken care of on Day 1 (I don't want to know what that would've sounded like)

I guess i'll keep clanking around 1' short of the mufflers to check for ringing before I hand the keys over to service for another day...

but IF it is the exhaust system- do they replace left/right muffler bank as necessary? or the entire system--if I've got a cool dealer, think they'd order a Borla instead?? hahaha the stock exhaust is easily a $1000+ ordeal....
My passenger side muffler started rattling/squeaking like crazy. Dealer replaced the entire exhaust system from the cats back under warrantee.

Good to know about the spoiler bolt issue. One of mine came lose and was rolling around inside my trunk lid. Now to figure out how to get the darn thing out.

MMMMM, the noise I'mm referring is isn't just the pump operating. It's more the pump itself, or a mount- pinging rapidly, causing a vibrato buzzing sound. Probably pinging off the inside of the tank. Obnoxious, and so loud at first I thought it was inside the car...

Easy fix... Cat-back! Give the car some growl

I still haven't had chance to try the seat down drive, I will try it tomorrow hopefully.

It's definately NOT the rear mufflers as they are in my shed!

[QUOTE=djsnoflake;1879816]Vernal: My thoughts could be the HVAC system? There is a TSB on it. Really listen and see if it is coming from the middle-ish area of your dash. I had a very similar thing on mine that also had to get fixed.

This is definitely coming from outside the car. With the windows up you can barely hear it. Does it still sound like the HVAC to you? 1800 rpm regardless of gear, and there it is.

A magnet wrapped in a soft cloth, rub it on the inside of the trink lid until you catch it, then drag it back to the hole.

Well, no joy with stopping my buzzing, had the seats down, still buzzed!

Took it to my dealer and they've said its a rear seatbelt buckle, they've had to order a new one!!

As Pearldrums has stated I would check the baffles. I have 15,000 miles on mine and the right side baffle just went. Waiting on the muffle to get here so it can be fixed.
