Yeah mine reads about 1,000 low but that's cause I'm 100' above sea level. The diablo manual said the 30% humidity that day would cause variations. Luckily I know what I'm doing.

Still thinking troll given the lack of response to age and the 89 chevy 1500 stepside as car driven, but I'll still give a helpful response....stay away from snow performance. Biggest regret I've had on the build. Try alky control dual nozzle. With that said you still won't make 1800 on 93 and meth especially not with a whipple. I made 1109whp with 93 and meth and could only run 13 degrees of timing. Also if 5000 seems like alot of money for that tranny you may want to look at all the parts you will need for the engine. All internals are not created equally. Also given your obviously severe lack of knowledge you should be sitting down with a shop and talking to them. That way you can atleast get an idea of the parts and money you will need. Good luck to you.

What did you crunch out for a hp increase with meth injection?
Are you still planning to run the Whipple blower? Bryan

Just slap a built Allison out of a DMax in that puppy. It will bolt right up.

It is some sort of Gen 5 Camaro. Any pics? You want to buy a Crate 427 LSX, naturally aspirated with a high compression ratio and NA cam. (previously wanted a 454 LSX or 502 Big Block Chevy) You want to install the mid sized 2.9L whipple SC and run 15+lbs on 91 with water/methanol. You expect to make 2,000+ then 1,800 then 1,600 hp and run 7's in the 1/4 mile but "don't believe racing on a prepped surface is a challenge". Your car already is one of the "fastest and most bad ass gen 5's". You want to cage it for street racing (no helmet), run a mishimoto tranny cooler and a built 6L80E and it will have subs and be a DD. Honestly, IMO you will be lucky to get it running at all. It will not make 1/2 the whp you estimate (Octane, very low timing and heat being major issues). Everybody has said your build is not a good idea for your goals. Why don't you listen or respond to direct questions and PM's? People are genuinely trying to help you! Maybe you should start another new thread that says the following? Hello, My name is ____________. I have a 20__ Camaro ________. Here are some pics for everybody to enjoy! I want to daily drive the car and mod it to do the following ____________. Can you give me any advice from personal experience or point me in the right direction? I know very little about modding Camaros but I am willing to search and do research. I have a Budget of $____________ and can you recommend any performance shops in my area to help me? Thank you, Powellbr |

They do make an electronic controlled shifter for the th400. It uses a digital box that you can set by rpm/speed from them ecm/abs/etc. and it uses a solenoid to physically shift the gear lever on the trans. http://www.altronicsinc.com/electron...shifter-1.html nick |

Only autos that will live with that kind of hp are built th400s or built powerglides.
I hate to burst your bubble, but even a 1600+ hp car won't be a daily driver for long. I started with a goal of building a 1000hp lsx 427, realized how quick the costs were adding up and now have a high dollar short block sitting in the shop because I was shoveling out cash faster than I was bringing it in. Just to shine a little light on how imperative it is to put together a budget, that shortblock alone has about 10k worth of parts in it and that's not including any labor since I had the experience and tools to build it myself. If I would have set my sights a little lower originally like I since have, I could've been happily playing around with a completed 750hp car by now.
