If your doing a cam go with aftermarket porting and ask them to duel springs kit at the same time (save money and a pain in the ass job once the heads are on the car) ask me how I know. If you keeping stock cam go gmpp heads

They are nice heads, plus you can sale yours once you swap them. You'll be close to the came price as sending you're heads out. If you're doing a cam your cam kit will come with springs...simply swap them out takes all of 45 minutes to do both sides. Putting heads on with a stock cam is pretty pointless.

I just installed GMPP CNC Ported heads with a BTR Stage 4 and headers with no cats.
My tuner was quite surprised at the outcome.

Most will skip the heads because you don't see huge gains, but if you wanna tip the 500 mark NA they can help get you there.

509/451 final numbers.

BTR sells the GMPP head with their platinum dual spring kit installed. I know several that went that route... very happy with result.

That's the only drawback I know of is they come with the stock blue beehives. The BTRs springs are nice and will work perfect with most street perf cams. I know someone with those heads and a BTR stage 2 cam... super nice does everything awesome package.

This is on a big engine with a big cam so this test would show the power to be had.

Sounds awesome ! 500+ HP naturally aspirated is the real deal. I'll bet that thing kicks ass at the track.

that's a STD not SAE read out on that dyno chart BTW, the deal is the price ; having read anything I could find I went stock GMPP from summit as many charge way to much for porting versus the difference in new versus ported stock heads is negligible from the factory if you follow the price..... and the difference in power production and flow is often better with the GMPP heads versus just a random shops porting job and even some real big names.....let alone; your heads redone for $750..... or new heads 1400$ sell the old... everything new and you have to trash the springs anyway for ones to match the cam......... STD -15 hp or more = SAE And yes unless super low miles always change 100$ worth of lifters..... I use br30 driven racing break in oil also.....and the scoggins dickey massage of the stock CNC porting is nice but this is on a 468 so the difference on more mild engines would be not so much as the 3 hp for the extra $....good luck, If I had the money I would be running ls7 small bores from MAST for my 428 but it does not grow on trees...

Then add the valves that come with the GMPP heads and you're almost the same price

Valves on the GMPP heads and the stock OEM heads are the same.

BTW.....I wouldn't go with the GMPP heads unless I had FI in my future plans. Jus' sayin'.....
