looking at the parts list, is it safe to assume the motor for the back will do double duty on the seat adjuster? I would have thought an additional motor would be required for the added articulation...but have not looked under the driver's seat to confirm.

The added motor is in the new Seat Frame.

These Part numbers are on GMpartsdirect.com for about $314.00. Recycled parts from the gm parts bin I assume, no photos. If the part numbers could be cross-referenced to all applicable models and years might have an easy salvage yard pick up.

Close to $700 for a pass seat height fix. WOW Plus labor?
You have to be kidding me.
I don't even have power seats on my car.
Guess my folded up Beach towel stays. Didn't think GM would come up with an
easy fix. This must be a good money maker for them.

I meant the site doesn't have pictures of the part, the description is right but that doesnt really mean anything.

$700 if you pay retail. Who does that? I didn't pay retail for the car, and i won't for parts.
