Need advice on JL C2650 mounts - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So I'm in the process getting all my necessary parts together to install my sound system. While doing my research before hand, I noticed someone mention that the JL C2 650 speakers aren't compatible with the Metra door mounts. Can anyone verify this?

Problem is, if they don't work, I already ordered a set of the metra mounts.

Where'd you get the Metra? Maybe call Crutchfield, they should be able to help you out, if not get you the right parts..
...also calling JL Audio tech support?

I ordered the metra on ebay. Looking at Crutchfield they sale the jls with the Scosche kit. I think I'll give metra a call tomorrow. Thanks
