anyone install aftermarket gauges?

My coolant gauge doesn't work never did but gm won't fix because of mods so I need a gauge.
Any gauge pillar pods or any other way people are installing?

I use a Scangauge II, plugs into the OBD2 port. On my Volkswagen TDI, the water temp gauge reads 190 when the actual temp is anywhere from 165 to 215. In other words, its useless. The Scangauge II gives me digital readings with 1 degree precision.
