Allow me to reintroduce myself

I joined the forum 2 years ago. Back then I was living in Texas and searching for a 5th gen 1LE or Z/28.

Fast forward to now, living in Alberta again (home at last), I continued my search for a 5th gen. I'm not sure why, but 5th gens seem to cost more than 6th gens when factoring mileage and wear.

After testing GT350's and being disappointed with the fit of the Recaros and the obnoxiously loud exhaust (the engine sounds amazing but driving that car by yourself must get old listening to the loud exhaust all the time), I came across a 2018 2SS 1LE which checked all the boxes so I pulled the trigger. The 1LE was also 20k less than the cheapest GT350 tested and in better condition.

The car is spec'd as follows
- Summit White
- 1LE
- PDR
- Sunroof (I was impartial on this but it makes the interior feel bigger with the extra light)
- Low mileage (15,500km)
- Excellent condition (no rock chips, suede is excellent)
- No modifications (except dealer installed tint)

Im back also!

Cars been down forever with sheared axle bolts. Easy fix but i got into a few new hobbies....Night vision, thermals and Texas hog hunting.

Finally getting back....

Read my thread or sig line whatever you call it. Not much has changes but my tuner cant keep traction at over 1 psi on the dyno. so he cant look deep into my cars tune

Old ass michelin 305/30 on forgelines on all corners. Tire are worn and cracked and Forgeline 3 piece race wheels are all leaking. Needing a new drag setup

Jim

Easy fix. Put on the PVS-14's and fix the axles in the dark!

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
