I wish I could too. That Stingray in the showroom was beautiful. MSRP was $60K

They truely are. My father and I went up and took a tour of the factory up in Bowling Green and that was just awesome! I highly recommend that tour if you have never been. I cant wait to take another trip up there!

My son and I went on the tour and watched the C5 being built. My wife and I stopped there in 2012 on the way back from picking up our Camaro at Rodgers Chevrolet but just missed getting in on the last tour of the day. Now you have to make reservations in advance to guarantee a spot. But I am hoping to go again one day.

I went and did the Mercedes tour near Tuscaloosa, AL a few weeks ago. Because of the way Mercedes is set up, you don't get to really walk the entire line kind of like you do at the Corvette plant. I would say that the Corvette plant is a better experience. I'd like to go back for sure.

Nice vette for your daughter!
About the real Stingray - I would have designed: 1) All vents and scoops without the black plastic inserts. 2) Fuel filler in the top driver "scoop". 3) Lowered by 1" all 'round. |
