Yep start with the lighter car. Chassis and setup are nearly equal and lap times aren’t far off.

Why not save $$$. If you get the bug then trade up or mod the engine (after learning the car well). I’m not near there yet and have a power train warranty until Feb 2022 then I would love at some point to cam it and make a home brew 6th gen Z28. It will still come in cheaper than a ZL1.
