ZL1 parked next to my Monte Carlo SS
I felt honored and fortunate to have such a dignified car park next to my Monte Carlo.

Nice pic. I've always liked the fourth gen Montes, and yours looks good. Also, +1 for having a real, RWD Monte Carlo SS...unlike the FWD stuff Chevy offered up in '06-'07. Not that I have much room to talk though, I traded a FWD Impala SS for my current baby.

Thanks, it was a 6 year resto project, all stock and original. I always liked the body style, last of the era for full frame, RWD and SBC. It also has a spiritual connection to the late, great Dale Earnhardt...

Hey, why not? You've clearly put time, money and effort into making her look good, so why not show 'er off?

I can go into a Chevy dealership and look at a brand new ZL1 any day. I can't do that with a Monte that looks like it just rolled off the assembly line. |

Nice MC! Many many moons ago, I had a 73. Very different car, obviously, but I loved it!

That is a sharp Monte Carlo. I think in a few years' time the market for early/mid-80s Chevys is going to heat up a bit. They make very cool resto-mod projects...

Your Monte kicks ass!
More pics if you have them! The 1st and 4th gen Monte Carlo are my favorites!
