Anyone done?

Let's see...

Basic bolt-ons : Intake/exhaust/etc
Minor cosmetic mods : Lighting/Calipers/Emblems
Always on the fence about Graphics, but that's just vinyl.

That's about it for me. It is my daily driver, and I don't always keep them forever, plus I have more than my share of projects in the garage, so that's it for me.

Anyone else done? Happy? Or does it never end?

:-)

I’m starting off small and working my way up!

Basic bolt-ons : Nothing at the moment... I do want to get an Axle back but I’d like to retain the NPP functionality.

Cosmetic mods : 15% ceramic window tint (If you count that as a mod), GM front lip painted to match, Diode Dynamics smoked LED side markers, ACS ZL1 side skirts painted to match. Clear taillights/3rd brake light is the next mod on my list!

Super happy with how my car is looking! She’s my daily driver until winter. This is just the beginning of my build

Yeah, it’s hard to know when to stop. I’ve only done a few cosmetic changes, but other than the fender hashmark, they have all been pretty subtle...front splitter, diode dynamics side markers, American flag window sticker, blacked out Chevy emblem on wheel center caps. I also changed out some other lighting such as led reverse lights, led front turn signals, and led license plate lights. I’ve also done some cosmetic work under the hood by painting the engine cover. Only “performance” (and I use the term lightly) mods I’ve done are K & N air filter and AWE Touring axleback exhaust.

The hard part is knowing when to stop and just enjoy driving the car. I want my car to be unique, but not overdone. I’m considering darker wheels, smoked taillights and third brake light, and I’m thinking about a black roof wrap. I guess I’ll let my finances guide me.

I am in the "Collecting" stage right now, for my add-on/upgrades. After these add-on/upgrades...I feel I will be pretty much done with this one.

I have....in waiting...for Spring...

Borla ATAK Axelback Exhaust with NPP (#11931)
Brembo 4 piston Caliper upgrade (Orange-Fifty - Front Only)
3rd Brake light from stock to Black-out

(All Around)
StopTech Drilled Rotors
StopTech Brake pads
New CV29 Rims/Wheels

Tires..Undecided

Replacing Lip spoiler with a GM "High Wing" Spoiler

These were small changes, I did, in the 4 weeks I had her, before putting into storage...

Changed the Bowties from Gold to Black

Carbon Fiber Trim on inside on, My Link, Console and starter button.

Vinyl:

Distressed Veteran American flag side rear windows
MisBehavin on rear window
Autobot head (for my grandson) on rear bumper area

COME ON SPRING!!

These are the only images I have of the...upgrades...so far! lol

For now the mods on my ZL1 are done! Still thinking on a CAI though but the stock system is good enough so I will probably keep it stock! The car already has more than enough hp for me that exceeds my driving abilities but sometimes it’s nice to have the extra power for instances of spirited driving!

I am pretty much done.

Performance- Whipple, LT5 tb, Rotofab, flex fuel, Ca cat delete pipes, American thunder NPP axle back, 305-35-20 555r rear tires.

Appearance- Dark tails & third bl, black bowties, led side markers, tinted rear reflectors, window tint, PVD coated stock wheels.

I might buy a drag pack and change the axle back. Other then that, the car rips and drives like stock.

This car is my daily and I got it March but since then I’ve done
Dark taillights with 3rd light
Led side markers
Black bowties
Front ppf
And rock guards.
is it ever going to be done ?
There are always mods and Next will be either a catback that keeps npp or long tubes Into the stock muffler , and eventually down the road a Whipple/ Magnuson or Procharger
But that Huron twin turbo setup looks great too !

It never seems to end for me. I got bit by the power bug and ended up doing a 427 build. Just waiting on a DSX pump to show up so we can finish her and get back on the road.

Once the Mod Gods strike you, you are never done...there will always be something. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but the day will come!

Unless you buy a Yugo...but you may still want to mount a coffee can on the back for your exhaust!

I've done a few bolt ons, and was hoping I was finished, but deep down I know I'm not, especially when people like Mike at Soler Performance keeps making performance goodies!

I'm thinking E85 and UGDO, possibly a Cam down the road and a spare set of wheels for winter driving. Maybe even the Anti Venom mod at the next oil change....see...on and on and on it goes never shall it stop even when you're old!

Cold air intake, tune, MSD Atomic Air Force, Soler TB, Mishimoto catch can. Cosmetically added a front splitter, changed spoiler to an RPI stage 1, 69 Camaro fender emblems, 1LE clone wheels. I want to do a Borla axleback but am scared about NPP functionality, maybe headers. Next mod, a Quickjack system, haha

Where did you get your 1le replica wheels, and how do they look on your white Camaro?

I am done with any performance mods, just a Roto-fab. Any further mods will be just cosmetic. Over the years I have modded cars to the tune of thousands of dollars and you will never get that back out. Sure you get to enjoy it but, like it being said here, where does it end. I am FINALLY satisfied with the power I have for the street. JMO

Prob will never be "done" I will always think of something to do to it. LOL

Moving along quickly considering I have only had the car less than 3 months and I did all the work to it by myself.

But Im mostly done with all the BIG stuff.

I still need to wrap the roof with carbon fiber wrap i have and the tail light panel, install the power stop rotors that I just got on black friday sale also.

No performance mods, trying to keep my warranty intact since I drive about 1600 miles a month.
