How to program memory seats
How do I program memory seats? I have pushed set button then 1 , held both at same time, and every other combo I could think it might be. I guess I’m not holding tongue right.

I had to do it a few times in a row for mine to stick. Going off memory put the seat where you want and hold the set and the number you want it saved as untill it beeps.

Press and release the set button, you should here a beep. Then press and hold the 1 or 2 button until you hear 2 beeps.

Thanks guys I’ll try it again several times in a row. It beeped before but didn’t save. But I also had to change and then reset and save the mirror tilt memory a few times for it to save

Are you doing it while car is running or in accessory mode? I was having trouble while trying it without the car running. Tried it while it was running and was able to program 1 & 2, and exit position.

The easy enter/exit feature allows the seat to move back or forward upon entering or exiting the car, but the ebrake must be on for it to function.

I wish my 1SS 1LE had this. Do the memory seats have the option to move the seat all the way back when you turn off the vehicle? Wife had a KIA that did that and it was so nice for getting in and out.

Yes! Just engage the ebrake before you exit the car for it to function

I have a 2017 RS A8 and have no need to use the ebrake to activate the Easy Exit feature. Once I set it to "on" in the Vehicle Personalization function, it activates automatically when the car is turned off and I open the door. The manual says it will also activate if the car is turned off with the door open as well although I haven't tried that.
