Looking good. If I didn't have the '17 SS, this would be my next choice.

Saw one in person this weekend at Super Chevy. Looks really good in person. The only downside was someone already scratched the crap out of it on the driver side rear quarter right above the wheel well.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

This doesn't make sense to me. I know you need the ambient lighting feature which is part of the 2SS.

My understanding is that this kit, supplements the temporary white light footwell illumination on the stock set up when doors open/close but then the illumination kit provides a soft coloured glow to match the colour on the ambient light feature for the footwell areas.

Any one have any feedback why GM won't accept this on a factory order ?

You can order your car and have the dealer order and install the lights once it comes in. It’s an LPO item anyway.

I have it on mine. It’s nice. But I wish it was brighter.

But correct it’s not a incompatibility with the car. It’s just GM blocks some items on special edition cars.

And correct we are talking about the same thing. If you change your ambient light color the floor lights will match now with this item.

I just installed the footwell lighting in my 2SS H50 Edition Camaro last weekend. It was a little time consuming, but if you have a little patience and a little bit of mechanical/electrical ability, it's not a difficult install.

If you need it, the OEM part number is 23248208 and can be ordered from Matt at WildHammer Motorsports. The link is here http://wildhammermotorsports.com/cam...eneral-motors/

Ordering My Hot Wheels Today!

Love this car. I have a 2011 2SS IFO Coupe and went to the Denver Auto show to see the Hot Wheels version because I will only buy orange Camaros! Beautiful! Glad they put some effort into the seat comfort. That was the first thing I noticed beyond the ridiculous high-tech upgrades in the past 8 years. Geez. Tech moves fast.

Still deciding on whether to get Magnetic Ride Control or not. Definitely getting the performance exhaust. It sounds very aggressive. I like the tone. For $895, you can't go wrong there and I have a Borla Atak on my '11, so I don't want to duplicate that sound anyhow.

Also, I plan to get the vert. My wife is trying to talk me into an automatic vs manual, because at the car show she was excited that she could actually see out of the car. We'll see today as we take two '18's for test drives.

I'm not sure I can give up my stick. I am very fearful that I will regret it.

Really excited!

Make the right choice, get the Magnetic Ride...
