ZL1 1LE aftermarket coilovers?

It looks like KW suspensions has recently released their coilovers for the ZL1 1LE platform. Has anyone tried these out? It has anyone changed their OEM 1LE coilovers for a more street friendly coilover?

ive seen people put bc coilovers and air ride on their cars but not sure why you would want to replace a dssv with a "street" coilover

I wouldn’t track it with the street coilovers and I wouldn’t run cheap BC coilovers. KW is very reputable so I was just curious if anyone had any experience with them.

You would be taking a set backwards replacing the DSSV setup on these cars.

If you don't plan to track the car, get some other junk, sure it'll ride nicer.

Right I got all that. My intent is to use the KW for the 95% street time and the DSSV for the track.

The KW's are like $3k after tax/shipping. I'd rather get some softer sidewall tires like the PS4S's or Continental's and then keep the Supercar 3R's for track use only. The 3R's have an insanely stiff sidewall which contributes a ton to the stiff ride.

since the 1le comes with a 2.5" spring you could just swap out the spring with a Swift for a softer rate. just keep in mind, the dampening is setup for the oem spring but there will be a range to do this. i wouldnt go extreme but maybe a lighter one do make the ride better.

I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do. Are you looking for a permanent replacement or are you planning to switch between the two as per your later post?
