New ACS Gen6 Camaro Fender Insert, 48-4-017

Just off the presses, we are sharing our latest Gen6 Camaro part.

The ACS Fender insert, with integrated LED Sidemarker.

Pn 48-4-017

The ACS fender inserts mark our first of many Spring/Summer product releases for the 6th Generation Camaro. The insert is fully functional by allowing airflow to pass through. Additionally, the LED side marker interacts with the turn signal for enhanced lane switching safety, and flashes when locked/unlocked.

The ACS Fender Inserts are molded in ABS-PC plastic creating a flawless component every time. The fender inserts can be painted to color match your Camaro or ordered in our Gloss Black finish, which will match our current 6th Generation paint options.

Oh, and did we forget to mention that it ships for free?

Available in 2 finishes
Primer (to be painted)
Gloss Black
The kit is included with following items:
Outer Fender Panel, Driver Side
Inner Fender Panel, Driver Side
Outer Fender Panel, Passenger Side
Inner Fender Panel, Passenger Side
Driver Side LED Side Marker
Passenger Side Side Marker
Windshield washer bottle carbon wrap
Touch up paint
Digital Templates

Stupid question, but the front quarter panels need to be cut to allow these to fit correct?

To be fair that part is shaped the same as the fender badges that come on the car so you can place those over the ACS logos, but if you're one of those that don't like fender badges then idk.

My only issue with it is I wish the curved part followed the curve of the fender better.

Those aren't too bad. I think they could be improved if they were taller--akin to the C7 and C7Z style ones. Although I see that the shape of the fender makes it more difficult to mold.

I cant tell if it is the picture but nothing looks straight. The curv of the vent should match the wheel. The whole thing looks like it was installed angled to far forward. None of the angles or lines match anything on the car........

this is the first thought i had. there seems to be no rhyme or reason to them besides the top lines being parallel to the ground and the bottom following that body line.... the vertical angles should flow with something IMO

I agree. Nothing matches. The top of the vent appears to be angled down but this could just be the picture. The rear doesn't match the curve of the door and the front doesn't match the curve of the wheel opening.

If it wasn't for the fact that the bottom line matched the contour of the body line I would say that these where for a different car.

Sorry to those that like these but to me it reminds me of the Honda crowd.

I like the concept but, the execution needs some rework. As is, it's not for me.
