Good article.

The IRS on the SVT Cobra's was not anything to write home about...a lot of people swapped in SRA's.

Comparing the GT350R to the base GT350, Motor Trend ran the two vehicles one after the other. The results — the base GT350 ran ran zero-to-sixty in 4.1 seconds versus the GT350R’s 3.9 seconds. In the quarter mile, the GT350 ran 12.4 @ 117.8 mph while the GT350R clocked out at 12.1 @ 119.6. In other words, the GT350R was 0.2 seconds faster from 0-60 and 0.3 seconds faster in the quarter mile with a higher trap speed.

Now compare that to the new SS of 0 to 60 in 4.0 and a quarter mile of 12.4 all for 37300.00 LOL ... Ford really miss the boat on the new model year
the trap speeds of 118mph and 120mph say you are wrong. In private owners hands they will be even faster.

To the OP-

GT350 owners and Mustang enthusiasts with a heart broken because of the 6th gen SS' straight line results? Really you're presuming that? Wow dude you're trying too hard. So on that principle of yours, what about the ZL1 and the Z/28? Broken hearted too? I think not.

You guys just don't get it. It's a road course car. It's not a drag stripper. Get your knowledge up people.

Get your knowledge up.

I believe a drag stripper is a man who dresses up in womens clothing (or woman dressing as a man), who then undresses in front of an audience for money.

Might be wrong though

I see how people can get that mixed up.

It's a car for road course. It's not a car for the 0-60, or 1/4.

Mmmm... I've been waiting to jump into the conversation.

We need pics for science.

Are you a real functioning human being? (If i have misinterpret you i apologize)

But whay youre saying ford fans have done with the 350 vs 2SS new Camaro is the EXACT same thing a large portion of Camaro fans have been doing since the introduction of the ZL1 in 2012.

Im workijg my way up to a buzz so i can reply to you later..

Right now the hipocrisy of this post seems laughable.

The Camaro6 guys are all very 0-60, 1/4, et based in their performance point of view. Its actually kind of off putting to see after spending so much time on Camaro5. Does this mean that the 5th gen fans are a weird outlier as the earlier gens were also very focused on the 1320?

This by no means means that I'm saying the 6th gen can't/won't handle amazingly, it will, no doubt. However, the conversations on Camaro6 seem to be almost completely about the 6th gens ability to drag race. The desire for lap times has diminished to a murmur while everyone there is raving about the potential to put down even better 1/4 times than the mags.

Has anyone else noticed this or am i just imagining things?
