Thank you to all from your Northern cousins. Poem below written by a Canadian Doctor serving in WW1:

In Flanders Fields:

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders Fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders Fields.

A touching tribute to the loss and carnage of the Great Burning

'Happy' seems out of place.
Solemn remembrance of those that died in the Great Burning and subsequent conflicts is more in order

Thank you to all that sacrificed.

Absolutely loved my time while in the service, it was so nice to retire with 22 years at age 39! Second career now helping veterans by working at a local VA Regional Office and will retire again in 6 more years. Thank you to all other veterans for your service. If you need any help at all make sure to visit your local VA!
