Hi Becky! Last week I was at a standstill 3400. I received a email notice from Chevrolet with the same status as you gave (theirs being 4-days behind yours) with the added comments, "At this time a TPW is not available for this order. Additionally, a VIN has not been assigned to this order".

I'm hoping that you will have more insight.....as you've always have had in the past.

No set pattern, but usually a few weeks
and then moves on to 3300 status.

For three weeks after production GM sent me the same form letter saying that my car was undergoing quality QC inspections at the railhead in Nashville. (I had visions of it on its way to California). So much for Build Sheets and Chevy QC, huh? What GM also is missing is an appreciation for intensely loyal and devoted customers. I am not complaining so much about the QC oversight but their dismissive attitude toward providing accurate status and updates, which they claim is extremely difficult; i.e., to track 3000 cars. Sure, we are excited; we are perhaps overanxious, but Corvettes are our passion we would not be irritated if we were not being toyed with. They enjoy their preeminence as though bailout never occurred. It is my view that when GM offer customers the opportunity to "Build Your Own", ... to make your car special just the way you would like it, there is an overwhelming implied obligation to keep the customer accurately informed. (Thank goodness for BeckyD!)
A last thought: FEDEX and UPS track millions of small packages with a 95% plus accuracy. Do you think they would have any problem tracking 3000 cars?
