Not liking it at all. The 5th gen refresh grew on me in a couple days. I don’t see ever liking this change but we will see. I can’t believe the Camaro team allowed the corporate grill to pollute the Camaro’s design language. I hope the Camaro survives this design misstep and returns strong in the 7th gen.

Wow. It makes it look so much better with the bow tie moved into the upper grill. I think I like the painted center section better too.
Like most mid cycle refreshes this one doesn't do it for me yet, but most of them grow on me. I didn't like the 98's at first but owned a 99SS. Didn't like the 14 refresh right away but really liked it after they hit the streets. I wish there were more substance to this refresh though. The 10 speed is a welcome addition as is the collision alert. A power bump or adaptive cruise would be nice. Still hopeful we will get a Z28 or some improvements to the Zl1 (maybe CC Brakes). I guess we will see.

I like the extractor hood. Everything else looks worse.

Hey GM, if you'd are reading through this thread for owner reactions, move that bowtie like this before you start producing these things.

Ewww!! The new front and rear are terrible IMHO. Glad I have my ‘18!
I wouldn’t have minded having the new safety tech and infotainment though. I tried that video rear view mirror in a Cadillac a couple months ago, it was awesome.

That turbo 4 1le should add dozens of sales per year.

There needs to be an option for the black bar across the front to be body color.
I think that this design will grow on us. The SS looks mean from many angles and the 2.0T 1LE looks even better. The LT/LS models will no longer look cheap up front, which is a plus. Can’t wait to see the SS 1LE and what the refresh looks like with different colors. |

Somehow I think I would have preferred this. I think the charger looks good. This ... I don't even know where to start - the Flowtie is out of place and should be on the top grill, the rear lights are horrible, and I think I prefer the nostrils to this hood vent. Maybe it just all looks like this in photos but I think I just made my mind up to pick a SS 1LE now and not wait for this.

I think this photoshop fixes the redesign. I prefer refreshes that retain the majority of the design, but make nip and tuck changes to show an evolution rather than a revolution in the design. The germans have been historically great at that on the more iconic vehicles. I wish Chevrolet had followed that, but with sales the way they are i imagine they chose to make a louder statement.

They are running the flowtie idea into the ground.

I LOVE the new look, it looks so futuristic! It looks just like the Transformers Camaro! The rear lights are awesome and the front fascia really stands out like never before! Yes, they could have put the flowtie on the front SS grill instead of the actual bumper but the bowtie really pops out where they decided to put it! I think its funny that every refresh GM releases every couple years, the TRUE Camaro fans SHRED the car to pieces! The Mustang guys do the same thing to their beloved pony car, so we aren't any better! I'm sure the design engineers that work for GM and Ford really don't care what the TRUE fans think, because they know whatever they come up with it's going to be met with vicious criticism! I'm sure GM isn't losing any sleep over the new refresh, it will sell very good.
