Lansing Delta plant joined the UAW strike....

The UAW strike has expanded to the Lansing Delta plant. Looks like Green River hasn't been affected yet.

The Camaro is built at the Lansing Grand River Plant, not Lansing Delta Plant.

And the Delta plant is located in Delta township, not in Lansing.

Doesn’t impact Camaro. Lansing Delta builds Chevy Traverse, Buick Enclave, and GMC Acadia.

Camaro is built at Lansing Grand River.

Lansing Grand River is in Lansing proper. On the grounds of the Oldsmobile complex. Lansing Delta is in Delta Township which is just outside of Lansing proper. GM typically locates plants just outside of midsize to large cities. Take the Tonawanda Engine Plant where most of our engines were built. If you leave the plant and cross the street you’re in Buffalo. It’s not called Chevrolet Buffalo because there used to be a Chevrolet Buffalo plant right in the city.

Unfortunately, the V6 is just another mass-produced, depreciating, nice car, the type Mecum would run with the other low-priced cars on the first day of any of his auctions. The LT1 (and any performance model) would sell at a proportionately higher price. On the other hand, you bought your car to enjoy now, right? So drive it or trade it for a vehicle you think you’d like more - but don’t count on either of them making you rich in the future. Most cars, especially the ones we can afford, are terrible investments.

Bloomburg news reported a rumor yesterday, that the union was down to a +30% ask. And supposedly GM and Ford's stock bumped up on the report.
