Depends. On bucket or bench seats I believe. I don't understand why folks get upset about the the column shifter. It saves space, easy enough to operate, but yet you put a dial up there and it's groundbreaking.

Bucket seats get the electronic console shifter, bench seat retains the column shifter.

I read the WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss will continue with the legacy interior. Smart in a way given it's more functional for actual work trucks, large knobs, dials, accessible with gloves on, etc.

This could be the one that (finally) unseats the F-150. We'll see!

The only one I'm a little iffy on with that is the Custom Trail Boss. Wish GM would at least give the option to get the upgraded interior.

W/T and Custom though, they're at a low enough price point I'm not sure GM could offer the new interior without heavy de-contenting.

That grille just reminds me of these early 50's truck grilles...

Just noticed the ZR2 doesn't come with sliders, which seems odd and like a big question mark. Why wouldn't they put sliders on it?

GM has an off road step with integrated sliders but they are having issues getting them from the supplier right now. My guess is that it was intended to come standard with them but because of supply issues, they removed it from the package and will let customers add them or something else later.

You don’t want steps on a truck like this. I see people get hung up on their steps fairly often. It needs to same sliders the Colorado ZR2 has.

I hope Chevy has a future Halo ZR2 package for the Silverado the same way the Bison is the Halo ZR2 package for the Colorado. If so, that has to be the Raptor killer

I was at an off road truck meet this weekend and AEV reps were there. I asked about a Silverado ZR2 Bison. They laughed and said they couldn’t discuss anything right now, so it’s safe to say something is coming.

That bar grill makes it look very Fordish

I like the front end and interior updates. Trailering and plowing has me in 2500’s and wished they were doing a major front end refresh on the 2500’s. With the chip shortage, probably won’t see any dealer lots full with inventory for a long long time.

One thing I wish GM (same with Ford and Dodge) would focus on is better rust protection for cab corners and bed wheel wells. In the Midwest with salt spray, these 2 areas start showing paint bubbles after just 7 years and 60000 miles.

They are for 2023. Not sure how much longer you are wanting to wait. I'm sure it will get the updated interior, for at least the mid to upper trims.
