GM brought 20 new Vettes to Carlisle. Anybody have any pictures from there?

Jedi,

Just returned from there....I will try and post some pics later tonight...is there a post someone can point me to on how to upload pics to this site?

What I can say is the new stingrays look awesome in the sun.....I'm a big fan of Laguna Blue but they had a killer yellow and black combo (which might very easily jump to first on the list) over Laguna Blue. Those getting torch red....be prepared for a great color especially if you have black wheels!

Great seminars from the GM engineers. They had their standard "walk around" of the stingray. Love or hate the design but in my opinion the technology and thought that has been put into this car is amazing. They talked about many things that I didn't know and I eat up all the info I can on this site and through google.

I must admit I wasn't a big fan of the rear end but to understand why they did what they did I am looking at it in a totally new light. The car is a winner in my book. To all who ordered I think you have one great car coming....Mine will be in about a year....can't wait!

Do you want to upload them straight to the site? It will probably be easier to do it through photobucket.

I always use imgur but Photobucket would work just as well. Just copy/paste the IMG tags to the site.

Hi Guys,

Straight to the site if possible. I don't use Photobucket or any similiar program. I store my files locally and use iPhoto, aperture, lightroom...etc to manipulate them. Is it possible to load straight to the site?

Thanks!!

GForensic, I only know one way to download pictures. It takes a while for me but maybe someone has a faster and easier method.

1. Move the pictures that you want to upload to your desktop.
2. In the message section, press "GO ADVANCED" button under the message section next to Submit button
3. Click on Paperclip next to Smileyface at top
4. Press Choose File
5. All pictures on desktop will show
6. Click on picture you want to download and press 'Choose' lower right
7. Your picture description will show next to "Choose File' - Press UPLOAD
8. "UPLOADING FILE" will appear, wait for it to finish uploading
9. Your picture should show up in 'Current Attachments'
10. The picture is attached to your message

I am not overly computer savvy and this is what works for me. I am sure some of our younger members have a faster, more efficient method. I hope this helps you.

It's possible but honestly, I've never liked vBulletin's attachment tool. It's kinda inefficient IMO.

If you'd like, you can email me the photos and I'll upload them for you.
