Hey vette 2300, I in the same boat, been bayed in Ohio for a week for a delivery to San Diego. A train arrived last Wednesday in San Bernardino loaded with vettes. I'm trying to find out when the next So. Cal. bound train is leaving Ohio. Hopefully my dealer will do some investigating today. Maybee your dealer might know some INFO. I'll post when I get some news.

I just saw Becky's note and would like to add to it: Once mine was built and bayed it went to Detroit for secondary inspection and then trucked down to Ohio to wait for a train ride, still waiting.

We just learned that our Vette was shipped to New Boston, Michigan. We are near Boston, MA. Why would our car be sent to Michigan? Our order is RMQBBD. Thanks!

well that's 3 vets heading for ca mine is stuck in Ohio also, hopefully it leaves soon.

Hi Cathy,

I could be wrong here, Becky would know. I read that once a C7 leaves Bowling Green it will get a 2nd inspection. The inspections are conducted in Detroit and TENN. I googled New Boston and it's 40 miles from Detroit. You might have a secondary inspection in DET. That's what happened to mine.

Last weeks train load arrived on Wednesday in So Cal (Mira Loma). So, it must have left on a SAT or SUN. Hopefully our train left today, the dealers can find out. PLS post if you get INFO. Thank you.

My car finally arrived 2 and a half weeks after production
It was shipped and delivered to the dealer the same day.
