Carbon fiber hood strip

Can anybody tell me what the Cf hood strip looks like?A friend of mine has 2006 Bette with a strip and it's a decal from the factory and looks real cheep.On the C 7 is the hood CF and they paint your color and leave the strip.

The hood stripe on 2014 Corvettes is a vinyl stripe that is the same color as Carbon Flash paint, it is NOT Carbon Fiber. It is the same Carbon Flash color as the hood vents. It extends from the hood vents to the rear of the hood. The vinyl is on top of the paint and leaves a raised edge. The Carbon Flash Mirrors and Rear Spoiler are painted.

They are called Stinger Stripes. And Jedi is correct-the Carbon Flash is basically Black Metallic.
