New guy looking at a 6 gen as my next daily driver
Pretty interested so joined to do some research. Dream selection is a vert with the turbo 4. But for the right deal I could live with a sunroof and a 6. It looks like both motors are timing belt free which is nice.
If anyone has the vert with a 4 combo let me know how you like it, my biggest concern for the vert is will it be too loud with the top up for phone calls? I usually have to call in to a team meeting during the morning commute, which is 75miles each way. |

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

I just quickly checked one out yesterday and thought it was a no go due to the limited seat recline, but came home and did a search and it’s an easy fix.
I have lower back issues and sometimes need a good amount of recline. It also seems like the turbo 4 combined with a sunroof or convertible is not very common unless I am missing something. |

i have a 5th gen with V6,auto.like it a lot but drove a 4 cylinder turbo car and it was surprisingly fast off traffic lights.i didnt think it sounded as good as my 6 cylinder but thats highly subjective.you should go drive a few and see which options/engines,etc. are what you want and can afford.BTW year or two old CPO cars are a great way to save money

Well took awhile but ended up with a CPO 2018 V6 convertible on Friday. Really happy with it so far.
