The point is every GM platform needs to shave off a few pounds. I remember someone at GMI once compiled a list where GM products were close to or at the top of their respective classes in weight. So as for me, I welcome the fact that GM recognizes the problem and is actively working to fix it.

I welcome it too, I just think GM maybe ought to do a better job of controlling exactly what kind of arbitrary numbers they throw out there in press releases or be more cognizant of what their higher-ups are going to say or reveal and make sure whatever arbitrary numbers they get ready to say are technically feasible.

I mean, thank God he only said 15% and not 20 or 25%

I do have a Camaro, and I don't ever plan on trading it in for a newer model year, so I really don't care what new stuff they add to them

Why this isn't going into production soon, I do not know.

I would have that in my driveway before a Corvette. Dead serious.

I don't know if I'd call it a Monte Carlo. There have been a lot of Impala coupes throughout the years. Only recently did whatever coupe version of Chevrolet's volume sedan become a Monte Carlo.

Probably won't be one for a while, if ever.

Honestly they need to do a Cruze coupe before anything larger. And the Astra GTC for Buick.

There were Malibu coupe design studies thrown around a few years ago that never came to fruition.

Ah, duh. Yeah you're right. Wasn't thinking. Impala Coupes were pretty popular cars. Totally spaced my mind. I probably just want a Monte Carlo soo bad that I only saw Monte in that picture

I completely agree with the Chevy Cruze coupe! Bring it on!
