I really just don't understand the hate for the design. It's a step in a different direction than traditional midsize trucks to be sure, but the global Ranger follows the same formula and everyone talks up that design.

The key to success for this truck will be fuel economy. Hit somewhere near 30 MPG highway and they won't be able to keep them on dealer lots. Focus on good FE numbers with this truck and class-leading haul/tow performance with the full sizes. IMO it's a better strategy than Ford's F-series-for-all idea which doesn't even work out well in the real world.

Couldn't agree more on the fuel economy. Give me a good reason to buy this truck over a silverado. I remember the ZR2's. the value of those was incredible. Most of the time the price was soo high that you just as well have bought a full size truck. If the fuel economy is high, and it is priced right, they will sell. No matter what they look like.
