jack point

in the past I would jack the whole rear of the car by placing the floor jack plate under the diff and lifting. now that we have IRS, is there a safe place to lift from?

I was told it is best to lift the rear from the back diff mount and flange.
Just a wood block on the jack and place it under the mount point for the diff furthest to the back.
The two flanges on the mount flare out to the sides and make a good contact point.

I've jacked up the rear via the diff many times with no issues or braking of anything. Use the rear most part (the mount) of the diff, where it's flat and mounts to the subframe, not the casing itself.

I use the rear diff most times at the rear most part.

I put these on my car and use the regular jack points most of the time.

I really need to get a pair but always spend the money on something else.

I have a set from ZL1 Addons and they are worth every penny.

ditto

Had to do a little trimming because extra convertible bracing interferes with the regular cutout location in the lower plastic
