Classic cars and reproduction cars should be exempt from people complaining. Can’t find lots of original ones anymore or they are crazy money. I see nothing wrong and that iroc clone is fine as hell.

I think most complaints center around people trying to pass off their " clone" as the real thing when they go to sell it.

I do recall that whatever Little Rickey did to reproduce the IROC tribute he did it on high school kid's money. A local body shop painted it for him at their cost and as I said before Firestone put a new engine in it at no cost. He did eventually sell it first day he put it up for sale. But I fight with my brain back an forth to build my GN into a tribute GNX because I want bone stock factory GN rather than a tribute. With that said I told the kid that when he finally graduates from grad school and gets a job that I would give him the GN and then he can build a GNX with it if he wants to.

The only reason I want the time slip is to change my pb in the signature. Without the time slip, I have no proof it happened.

Getting back to the thread, for a while I had RS badges on my car. Surprised a few people. Down badging FTW.

Do it. I have a hyperdrive badge on mine even though I am not actually capable of jumping into warp drive.

Reminds me of the 1969 Nova I had with 307 badging. Bought it from my mechanic uncle who put a built 350 in it. Used to be a three in the tree too before he switched it to the floor. Had a few races where was asked what I really had under the hood
