Yup, it'll be called Multi-Flex for Silverado. Apparently there will be some additional improvements.

I agree. I think it's brilliant. There's a long wishlist for the 3rd gen. Some realistic, some not.

I have a 2019 High Country and a friend has a 2019 Denali. The trucks are about as identical as you can get except for the multi function tailgate. He wants me to trade tailgates because he hates it and I don't want it because I don't like it either. It's been a while but if I remember when it's opened all the way to the lowest position, it does not close 100% via power. You have to manually close the 1st position or two. Otherwise it has some nice features.

I've seen a few folks complain about the hitch ball damaging the tailgate depending on the open position. I mean you could argue it's the end user's fault but still. Did the engineers think about that?

I've heard this a lot. For me, the only time I have a receiver in my hitch is when I'm pulling a trailer. At that time, you couldn't use the multi-function aspect of the tailgate (step). Once I have disconnected the trailer, I remove my receiver (my truck has a nice cover as well - factory), so it's not an issue with the way I would use it. That said, who knows if the engineers thought about it, or assumed users would be like me and remove their receivers when not towing

Someone's already come up with a doohickey that prevents the upper part of the tailgate from functioning if it detects a hitch.

Beautiful steering wheel! I love the combination of leather, carbon fiber, and brightwork.

I guess their development budgets were sunk into the new wheel, instead of putting Blackwing engines in the Blackwing models.

Well, Bhobbs, the Blackwing logos were already printed. What do you want GM to do there?

The general public though is going to have no clue what happened, only enthusiast.

Noticed this yesterday but figured it might've been a leftover from whoever does GM's photoshops.

There's a code at the bottom of the steering wheel picture.

GMAuthority uncovered an image of the Hummer EV's propulsion system. Plus new wheel designs.
