I'll post back with how well it does at the drag strip once winters over, I just bought the new BTR equalizer 3 yesterday and I'm probably the only one heading to Canada at the moment since there is a limited number available.
It should be good for anybody whose got a head/cam setup that is moving enough air to push the power band in the 6000-8000rpm range OR a boosted application that again with the right camshaft will shift the power band up in the higher range. It will mostly benefit drag racers or circuit racers that have long stretches off high rpm to redline IMO. Sent from my LG-H933 using Tapatalk

Also you posted the link to the "old" BTR intake AKA the original cathedral style.
Here's the new rectangular/ls3 port style: https://www.briantooleyracing.com/bt...rt-ima-03.html Sent from my LG-H933 using Tapatalk

I'm in for results!!! My ported/rod modded manifold is my current restriction. The plan is FI this year, this manifold should shine with FI!

It will lose power and torque at lower rpms just like other manifolds of this type. Good threads on this manifold in other boards. Kudos for BTR delivering this quality manifold at a great price point For your average bolt on parts guy, ask yourself this question; How much time do I spend at 6000-8000 rpms in the way I drive my car now? Also note that you have to have the valvetrain for those rpms too. For 80% of us it is hard to beat the factory manifold.

My CNC ported GPI LS3 heads w/ supporting valvetrain and GPI SS4 cam along with my Huron speed single turbo kit with a billet ball bearing Comp 78/76 turbo should have no problems feeding that BTR intake. And for those who were asking my intake is scheduled to arrive this Friday as per the tracking info so hopefully I'll get some time to install the intake over the weekend Sent from my LG-H933 using Tapatalk

Understood, my comment was for the OP and other readers of this thread at later dates. Have you dynoed your set up with the stock intake? That is what is lacking real data. Your car will make power with the BTR intake - no doubt. But it would be nice to see what and where the differences are in the rpm range. One of my favorite quotes from Tom Nelson is "... guys spend thousands of dollars on intakes to lose power." The price point on the BTR is great though...

you have a turbo that will run out of steam above 6000rpm and a intake that only makes gains above 6000. basically just paying money to loose midrange and make the car slower overall

fih_gen_powa - I assume you have an LS3 intake. My stuff isn't even finished being tuned and I see no need to change intakes - I can blow the tires off pretty much anytime...
