Man, so bummed I'm gonna have to miss out this year, especially on the drag racing. This is my favorite part of fest, even if I usually have to race half the day hungover.

That's the part that worries me. If I get down there and they need me to have a cage, chutes, driveshaft loop etc... our track here wants chutes if you do more than 132mph, which is a possibility with my set up and stickies.

Post #2 has a tentative schedule.

Will be worked a bit to fit bracket racing and additional competitions. But it should give you an idea. Pretty sure we can do Brackets on Friday afternoon as well and if not complete can start off Saturday to finish up.

I signed up on Friday Morning AutoX - hoping it would work better with Drag time options for my class. I assume since there is no signing up option for Drag (to enter the car info) - that the information provided for AutoX registration will be used to determine Drag Race Class - - then assigned at some point - so that we know when to be a the Drag Race Line.

We try the best we can and you bring up a good idea. I will take a look at the schedule and once you're at AutoX you can let them know about your drag class but either way there will still be plenty of time to hit the drag strip on both days. Bracket racing is one for sure.

Well when registering for AutoX time - it does ask on the form if I will also be Drag Racing - - so I thought that might be a way to generate a List of people who plan on drag racing. At least it's a place to start.... Thanks for your reply!!

Leaving my nitrous home this time around... too far from home incase something goes wrong. lol

I am just wondering if there will be an Old and Slow bracket? I am signed up for the CamaroCross and drag racing. I know that I only want a couple or three passes at each. I figure with a day at the track, CamaroCross, 2 days at the strip and then coming home via The Tail of the Dragon, I don't want to be pushing my luck, too much.
