LT4 TB work on LT1?

Have a Soler TB ported for the LT4 and a guy was wondering if that same TB would work on his LT1. I’ve emailed Mike awaiting a reply so figured I’d ask on here. thanks.

Probably not, Soler lists different products on its website for the LT1/LT2 and the LT4, with separate part numbers, even though the OEM 87mm throttle body is the same on LT1 and LT4.

Yes I wonder if maybe the LT4 is ported a little differently and might still work. Hopefully Mike will email me back he’s usually pretty quick with replies.

It can but you may experience problems because it's the way it is setup. I was getting one for my girlfriend lt1 and chatted with Mike. I sold the LT4 one then got the correct one. I got a new ZL1 an if it don't work hit me up I may take it off your hands.

LT4 and LT1 throttle body are the same exact part number. I have an LT4 throttle body if anyone needs one.

given that you're in Ontario, let me know if it doesn't work out

Was going to try this with a Tony Mamo TB. My buddy has a ZL1 and I have an SS. Called Tony Mamo and he said no it will cause check engine lights. Would probably do the same with the Soler. Could just call Soler and ask?
