New guy, just purchased 2013 ZL1

Hi guys, my name is Jeff, and I'm happy to say I pick up my dream car this coming Saturday. It's a stock/unmolested 2013 Victory Red ZL1. The car is mint. It has the suede package, exposed carbon fiber hood insert, and most importantly it's an M6 car. Only thing not stock are the slightly tinted windows, Lol.

A little about myself... I'm a 34 year old Structural Engineer, and have been around car's all my life. My father owns his own shop, and has been a GM Certified Mechanic for some 40 years. He also owns a 1965 GTO. Needless to say, I was born a car guy!! Prior to my ZL1, I owned a 2007 Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged which I purchased new when I graduated college. I modified that car to a respectable 300whp 242wtq on race gas. It had a prototype blower which eventually gave way to the development of the TVS blowers found on newer supercharged vehicles today. It also had a rare GMPP ported head, cams, and full exhaust. It was a great car. 1.5 years ago I decided to sell the Cobalt, and move into a 2013 Regal GS. The GS was a great car, moved out pretty nice, but it didn't have enough excitement. So I began my search for the car I always wanted to end up with.... the ZL1.

Below is the first pic I took of her before my test drive. I look forward to learning all I can about the car on here from you guys.

On a side note, I'm not a 100% new member.... I originally joined back in 2013 under the username 1LEE. Back then, I was interested in purchasing a new 2013 1LE, but with a wedding coming up at the time, and just building a house, I decided to hold off....

Jeff, CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
