HELP CHANGING USERNAME

As the title states I was wondering who to message about changing my username. I've purchased a 2019 ZL1, (2019ZL1) is what I want to change it to.
Thanks in advance.

Chances of getting your username changed would seemingly be pretty small. The entire database would need to be scrubbed to updated any instance, including quoted comments of yours, to change the "old" to the "new."

Might be simpler to change the email on -this- account to something else then just make a new account with the name you want tied to your current email.

I got mine changed about 4 yrs and probably 3-4k posts in. But forum was more active then and it was easier to get things like that done. Again, I sent a PM of my request to Tran. It was done within 48 hrs.

Do you know this for a fact?

The user ID/key could be a surrogate (GUID) and then you only need to change the name in the profile record, no need to update in every single reference in every table and index (which is one of the two main reasons I'm a big fan of surrogate keys).

No, I don't know it for fact. But, based on my experience with setting up "forum" software over the years, quoted replied seem to quote the username as text and not as a reference to a key in many cases.

Changing a Username in vBulletin is simple, it will also change the Username on all your old posts... I run a vBulletin Forum with 23,000 members and nearly 2,000,000 posts, not as large as this, but it is a restricted access forum and plenty busy...

I don't understand Administrators who don't respond to requests from members, I guess all they are worried about is the advertisers... My site is a "member supported" site, we have 0 advertisers, so every member is a Customer and treated as such...

When you get something for free, YOU are the product...

Sounds like it wouldn't be an issue then.

Then you have to get the car to match your username.

The LT1 did not exist in January 2016 when I became a forum member.

I should not have to be required to harrass an admin for the only request I have ever made in over 6 years on this forum.

I guess if you want to call a second request harassment so be it. Usernames get changed all the time
