Removing Front Plate Bracket from 2017 SS Grill

How many attach points? Are there any instructional videos so I know what I’m up against? Thanks in advance.

There are two rivets that you have to drill the center out of. Then there are I think four plastic clips that snap on the grille. I used some of the black plastic plugs that hold trim items in place to fill the holes.

Thanks Richard. What is the best size bit(s) to use for first time quality release? Do the rivets spin while drilling at all or easy peasy drilling? I don't want to damage it more than necessary. Do the four plastic clips that snap on the grille release easy? Any other thoughts? I'm taking all of the advise out there.

Success! Took it slow and took off just the heads. Back of rivets easily pushed inside black bumper strip. What remains are two 7/32 holes. Not noticeable.

What is wrong with the factory front license plate mount for the 6th gen?
I've seen some aftermarket mounts that tosses the plate between the right headlight and middle of the car.
What is that all about? Totally looks like Crap.

The 6th gen factory mounts are fine and conceal well with a dark tinted plate shield. The non factory mounts allow easy removal of the entire front plate and mounting frame (car show mode). I prefer my grill to be plate free when I can.
